General Membership is open to all surviving military spouses who are (or have been in the past) eligible to receive Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) from the Department of Veterans' Affairs (VA) whether or not they have re-married. For active duty deaths a DD1300 can also be submitted. 

Affiliate membership is for an individual or corporate supporters that want to receive our newsletter and upcoming event information. Affiliate members are considered non-voting members, but are able to participate in activities and support. 

Gold Star Spouses of America (GSSA) will offer scholarships for annual member dues based upon need. Please email info@goldstarspouses.org to request a scholarship with the stated need/reason.
